Based in Texas and serving much of the south-central Unites States, Chapman Construction has been building electric power lines since 1948. Over the years, the company has become a renowned provider of construction services for transmission lines and substations, fiber-optic communications systems, and wireless base transceiver stations.
As a turnkey contractor, Chapman can take on the most difficult assignments, including complex, high-risk installations and environmentally sensitive projects.

Transmission Line Construction: high voltage lines up to 500KV; one-, two-, and three-bundle conductors; the full range of wire types and sizes; and every type of structure, from single wood pole to lattice towers. Substation Construction: turnkey services for voltages up to 500KV, including design and engineering, construction, calibration and testing, equipment servicing, masonry fencing, and landscaping. Wireless Systems: turnkey services for the installation of base transceiver stations, including permits, power and telecommunication lines, materials procurement, construction, and testing. Fiber Optic: installation of overhead fiber optic cables, primarily on electric company transmission and distribution lines.

Sample Projects
In the last two years, alone, Chapman has constructed more than 250 miles of 345KV lattice tower transmission lines. Other recent projects include:
- A new 345KV switching station and modifications to several others:
- Engineering, procurement, and construction of a 345KV transmission line for a private company that builds generating stations for the sale of electricity:
- 15 miles of rebuilt and upgraded 138KV transmission lines through high-end residential and environmentally sensitive areas of Dallas:
- Construction of a 69KV transmission line in an environmentally sensitive area off the coast of Texas, from Laguna Madre to South Padre Island
